Kivi Park Community Foundation benefits from new lighting to  extend access to outdoor recreation in a safe environmen

Today Marc G. Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Official Languages, accompanied by Viviane Lapointe, Member of Parliament for Sudbury, announced an investment of $444,891 through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF) for Kivi Park Community Foundation. New EV Chargers Coming to Thunder Bay 

Today, the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister Responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario, on behalf of Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Natural Resources, announced a $500,000 investment in the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Inc. to help support the installation of up to 63 electric vehicle (EV) chargers across Ontario.

Launching consultations on mandatory labelling for chemicals in consumer products, like cosmetics and cleaning products, and better supply chain transparency

To that end, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, and the Minister of Health, the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, announced today the launch of national consultations on improved and mandatory labelling for certain consumer products, including cosmetics, cleaning products, and flame retardants in upholstered furniture. The consultations will also seek views on how the Government can take action to improve information about chemicals in product supply chains. The consultations will take place through a series of workshops and interactive events between now and summer 2022.
