Information about COVID-19 at Regional Psychiatric Centre 

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) advises that three inmates at Regional Psychiatric Centre, in Saskatchewan, have tested positive for COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees, inmates, and the public continue to be our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation, and measures are in place to minimize spread of the virus within the institution.

Government of Canada highlights projects that will help reduce barriers to employment for Black Canadians 

Diversity is Canada’s strength, and the Government of Canada is committed to creating more diverse and inclusive work environments where every Canadian has a fair and equal chance to reach their full potential. To mark the beginning of Black History Month, the Honourable Seamus O’Regan Jr., Minister of Labour, highlighted projects that aim to remove barriers to employment for members of the Black community. The projects are funded through the Workplace Opportunities: Removing Barriers to Equity (WORBE) grants and contributions program.
