The Canadian International Trade Tribunal today initiated an expiry review of its order made on March 13, 2020, in expiry review RR-2019-001, continuing, with amendment, its finding made on May 20, 2014, in inquiry NQ-2013-005, which was continued, with amendment, in review NQ-2023-005R, to determine if the expiry of the order is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping of hot-rolled carbon steel plate from the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Indonesia, the Italian Republic, Japan and the Republic of Korea, and is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.

Government of Canada funds three projects in Manitoba to help more seniors age at home
Today, Canada’s Minister of Seniors, Joanne Thompson, announced $1.57 million in funding for three pilot projects in Manitoba. The Minister was joined by Kevin Lamoureux, Member of Parliament for Winnipeg North and Ben Carr, Member of Parliament for Winnipeg South Centre. These projects mobilize volunteers to help low-income and otherwise vulnerable seniors in their homes. They were selected after an open call for proposals under the Age Well at Home initiative’s In-Home Support Pilot Project stream.
