On March 4, 2021, a serious case of obstruction of DFO fishery officers in the performance of their duties concluded in Richmond Provincial Court. The Honourable Judge Bonnie Craig found Tenshi Seafood Limited, and its co-owner, Dishi Liu, guilty of violations of Canada’s Fisheries Act.

FedNor supports for businesses, innovation and clean-tech to help create up to 870 jobs across Northern Ontario

The funded projects are expected to create up to 870 jobs, support recovery efforts and maximize development and growth opportunities in Thunder Bay-Superior North and across Northern Ontario. Canada supports the nation rebuilding efforts of Indigenous groups in Saskatchewan to advance self-determination and reconciliation

$19.8 million to provide high-speed Internet access to over 1600 households in Mauricie by September 2022
