That is why the Government of Canada is investing in six tourism groups and businesses in Eastern Prince Edward Island (PEI), to boost tourism initiatives and help the industry prepare for a swift recovery when travel restrictions are lifted.

New Electric Vehicle Chargers Coming to Saanich

The Government of Canada is investing more than $21.2 million in 55 projects under the new COVID-19 Resilience Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. The Government of Saskatchewan is contributing over $16.4 million. Contributions by recipients toward their respective projects are $12.5 million. In total, this represents a combined infrastructure investment of more than $50.2 million. Funding recipients are responsible for any additional project costs.
